Would be a shame to see a 16 year old beat the piss out of it But you gotta do what you gotta do
A while ago I listed my car for sale on modifiedcartrader.com for $16K
A 16-year old's mother just called and said her son loves my car and wants to buy it, they live about 15 minutes from me.
I already told her that I wasn't desperate or really needing to sell it.
I'll have a few weeks to think about it, because I'm already booked for SEMA IAS in A.C.

that 16 year old WILL beat the piss outta it, no doubt. tell that 16 yr old's mom to spend her money on somethin cheaper instead of getting a really nice car for a new driver on the road.

Kid came out with his mom to look at the car last night. He really, really liked it. He was a very mature looking 16 year old, about 6 feet tall.
The mom had APC taillights on her car
He said he already has a different spoiler in mind to put on
I told them I couldn't sell it for 3 weeks because of SEMA IAS
They said they would think about it, and get back with me.
It would not be wise to sell your car at $16k. As decked out as it is, I would not sell it for less than $25k. U can't even buy a brand new civic Si for $16k............ not to mention that no one will take care of this car better than U or me or Eric.........

Well I thought 16K was a good price. Lets face it, when you fix up a compact you arent going to get the money back in the end. Most of the people who will want the car are young and dont have alot of money. Either way for Bill its good though, considering he won the car enjoyed it for a few years and then gets money back. another update:
This weekend, the kid called again and came over with his dad to look at it, parents are divorced so i guess they couldn't come together.
I feel like I am ready to move on, and get something quicker than 17's.

They offered me $13,000 ... and I turned it DOWN.
She complained about:
- no access to back seats, with the racing seats
(i'll swap my old CRX seats, if they want)
- husband said engine was missing something ?!?!
(maybe he didn't see an airbox or a carburator?!?!?)
- husband said brakes didn't feel right
(probably better braking than he's ever felt)
I just saw a dealer with a stock 00 Si and it was listed for $17,000.
If they don't come up, they I'm not selling.
I think they'll be calling back...
